I’ve been trying to find ways to create simple items into looking fancier than they originally look, and going around the art shops for gold papers and paint isn’t as easy a tool to use to make things look nice. Other than that, gold foil stamps isn’t actually cost efficient for a first time trial of all the experiments I’ve been doing. So I decided to just make this a fun and silly way to create envelopes with things that I can find at home. This is the simplest DIY I could think of to make a last minute envelope with just a simple piece of paper and some gold paint. Here’s the step by step photos I took to document the process.
Things needed are just the basics:
A nice piece of paper (Mine has a bit of texture) | Cutting tools to shape the envelope | Gold paint (Any will do) | A toothpick | Some tapes to keep it neat
