Equinox Restaurant | Luxury-Dining
Located at the highest point of Singapore, Equinox Restaurant has one of the richest views the city could get. Equinox was one pleasant experience I had the chance to visit as a luxury-dining spot. It’s basically the place to go if you would like to see all the famous spots in Singapore, if I were to explain this short. Although my photo was taken at night, I can assure you the famous landmarks that can be seen from the restaurant side of this place (there’s a club and a bar located on different floors too facing different views) are; the Marina Bay Sands, Singapore flyer, the famous durian building, a far view of gardens by the bay and further, and many more.
My experience here was as a birthday occasion, which made it much more romantic. Other than that, the price of the food was relatively high for its simple flavors yet exquisite display of meals. I would recommend visiting Equinox for its gorgeous view, be sure to get a seat next to the window, as well as to try out their creative displays of dessert selections since it looked pretty cool.
Since it was my first time in Equinox, I have to say I had a high expectation for the taste of the food and place. The restaurant had a fairly simple-environment and decors, and other than that the food was ok for a luxury-dining experience. I had the Wagyu steak which came in a beautiful platter with a freaky bone marrow on the side, which after taking a first bite displeased me, for its slightly less juicy meat. Other than that, the sauce and sides tasted better than it looked which made the whole dinner fairly pleasing. The only thing that really bothered me was just that bone marrow sitting on my platter.
